Basically, the MDP is a a project where we are researching the development patterns of major metropolitan areas throughout the Asia Pacific region. Each group is studying a different area (eg. us Auckland) and we will be consulting and collaborating on the progress of each towards a forum in Shanghai (hopefully) later this year, where we will compare the findings of each group. The idea of communication we need for now is so we (as leaders) can set the framework clearly, jolly the groups along with their progress and generally set up a discussion site that all the groups can participate in.
